DSL Service for Oregon and Washington - so fast you can feel the connection.

Although DSL can seem confusing, it truly is very easy to order and simple to install. It is however, necessary to understand one basic concept - that is - it takes two companies working together to provide "DSL Internet Access". In other words, it requires both your local telephone - "DSL" line service provider (for example: Qwest) and your "Internet Access" Provider (opus:interactive DSLgateway.com) to jointly provide "DSL Internet Access". The line provider provides the "DSL" line and opus:interactive DSLgateway.com provides the "Internet Access". Therefore, you will need both companies working and communicating together to provide "DSL" plus "Internet Access" - and this creates "DSL Internet Access".

With this in mind, one can expect the cost of "DSL Internet Access" to be "shared". Meaning - one can expect to receive monthly charges from both the "DSL" line provider (Example: Qwest or Verizon) and the "Internet Access" provider (opus:interactive DSLgateway.com). Therefore, one should add the cost for each service together to determine the actual monthly cost of "DSL Internet Access". For example; Qwest charges $15.00 per month for "Basic DSL" service. opus:interactive DSLgateway.com charges $15.00 per month for "Internet Access" The total cost in this example would be the two added together - $30.00. Just remember, one can expect separate monthly billings. CLICK HERE for our cost chart.

The next thing to understand is the necessary hardware. For the most part, any computer running Windows 98 and higher is capable of DSL Internet Access. If you are unsure of your computer's configuration, you should contact a DSL Consultant and ask them to evaluate your system for you. CLICK HERE to request further assistance.

One last thing, the modem. Yes, DSL Internet Access requires a special modem. The modem can often be rented (month-to-month) through the DSL line provider. or you can own your modem. If available, we suggest you rent the modem. These often rent for between $3.00 and $5.00 per month.

The next step: Order the "DSL" and "Internet Access".

opus:interactive is an authorized Internet Access provider through Qwest, Verizon, CentryTel and other national networks. Contact your DSL Consultant at opus:interactive or complete our on-line order form and you will enjoy high speed performance within just a few days!
